Google Places Mischief
Interesting piece in the New York Times on the dangers of crowdsourcing business information. Google Places, like similar services such as Yelp, uses user-submitted information on local businesses to keep its listings up to date. Unfortunately, some unscrupulous users post incorrect information intentionally, such as indicating that the business has closed down!
