Network Solutions
More reasons to avoid Network Solutions (now apparently also Web.com) as your registrar - check out this exposé over at Techdirt regarding their "Weblock" program. The company allegedly tried to hit highly-valuable domain names with an opt-out $1850 domain protection charge (only $1350 per year thereafter!). Read the full story here.
